This is the 2nd request for the draft Covenant changes be posted for members to review before the December 17th meeting.
The members (all property owners) should be able to review a draft of the proposed changes before the meeting in order to facilitate productive discussions. The self-appointed board has had sufficient time to review the changes they paid the attorneys to make.
Please, fellow members, reach out and talk to the neighbor on your left, your right, so that everyone has a voice in this process!
Please do not be deceived that this is a change that brings you more control over your property – this is a change that allows your neighbor and your self-appointed board members to have more control over your property.
For years, we have been told by the board members that issues regarding our covenants should be handled on a neighborly basis, and not the responsibility of the board. Why are we spending time and money to change that at will of the self-appointed? there has never been a popular vote regarding increase in fees for attorneys and insurance, much less for taking away rights of property owners.
The intent of our Lake Associate was to take care of the Lake. Please let your voice be heard in how we want to continue to take care of our Talahi Lake.
