  • We are suspecting it is related to the heavy rainfall recently that washed lawn fertilizers into the lake.

  • It is extremely bad at our dock (11 Twelve Oaks) and has been like this for a 6-8 weeks.

  • Hi Everyone, we spoke with Estates Management, our lake management company, on Friday. He asked us to send him some pictures and I took some last evening. It looks like most of it has pushed to the north finger of the lake. EM is due to be here Monday or Tuesday but I will let you know if he responds to my pictures over the weekend. He said the hot dry weather followed by a deluge is a perfect storm for algae blooms. Everyone is fertilizing their lawns right now and it ends up in the lakes/ponds, too.
