The Talahi Lake Management Corporation met Wednesday May 7.

Here is a summary of what was accomplished:

Mr. Jackie Johnson was elected to the position of Vice President. Jackie, congratulations and thank you!

We voted to change our corporate name to the Talahi Lake Property Owners Association, Inc. Our attorney is in the process of making that change.

The lake appears to be in good condition. If you have concerns about your portion of the lake, please let Jackie Johnson, Lake Master, know so he can get the attention of Estate Management, our lake service provider. Also, make sure to post your house number on your dock or bulkhead for easy reference.

We agreed to reinstate lake boat registration for our electrically powered boats. We will have stickers available soon. Please make your request to me now.

We continue to work on an alternative site for boat launch. We hope to have an announcement soon.

Please pay your dues if you have not. If you did not receive a notice, let me know. We have had 100% payment for some years now and need your payment.

A couple of other reminders:

Please ensure that yard debris or anything else except christmas trees are not thrown in the lake.

Please enjoy the use of the lake, but keep large boats below a speed that will throw a wake.

Our lake covenants include the opportunity for your guests to use the lake when owners are present. Please respect this covenant.

The maintenance of the shore line at your property is your responsibility.
